“I can’t believe you pinched Brian’s butt,” Tabby told me as we drove back to Newport, RI from Boston.

I couldn’t help it. “I couldn’t help it,” I mimic my own thoughts. “But he was right there and you didn’t tell me that we had meet and greet passes. I was so excited. Did you the look on his face in the picture? That was priceless.”

Wow. I really can’t believe that I’m actually excited aver the backstreet Boys again. But it seems like just yesterday Tabby and I were having this same conversation in the back of her mom’s car as we drove back from the four Black & Blue shows we went to.

I don’t know why I’m acting like it’s the first time that I met them. I met them when I was ten when I went to an awards show with my mom and I met them at a meet and greet for the Black and Blue tour. But this is different I guess because I’m not a kid anymore. Does that make any sense? I don’t know.

“I hope he remembers me forever now, and he is realizing what he missed out on when he married Leighanne,” I laugh.

“Ha ha. In your dreams Desi.”

“I know. There is nothing wrong with dreaming,” I laugh again. I can’t believe that I’m having this much fun with Tabby. I forgot why he stopped hanging out. Oh wait, I remember now. I was a ***** to her. I was really mean and I ditched her for Alisha.

“You can dream. I know I’m gonna be dreaming about nick tonight. I can’t believe how long he hugged me for. I felt like it last forever.”

“That was because he was feeling on your boobs.”

We both laugh. I miss Tabby. It’s going to suck, because I know that after tonight, we are going to hang out a lot more, but I’m not even going to be here for the summer. I’m tempted to tell her about the TV show, but I can’t. I’m not telling anyone. The only people that know are my parents and Alex. I didn’t even tell Alisha. She thinks that I’m staying with my mom this summer.

So instead of telling Tabby that secret, I’ll tell her another that I have been keeping all night.

“I think AJ looked really hot,” I confess.

“What?”

“When he did that shake it shake it thing during ‘Everybody’, it had done it for me.”

“I still don’t think I heard you right?” Tabby said.

“He winked at me during the meet and greet. It was all over from there. I don’t know what it is, but I like him now.”

Tabby laughed. “Are you sure it wasn’t Howie winking at you?”

Tabby knows well that AJ had been tied with Kevin in last place on my list. It went Brian in first, Howie in second, Nick in third and Kevin and AJ were tied in forth.

“My new list goes Brian in first. He always will be. Then Howie and AJ tied in second, and then Nick and lastly Kev.” I love Kevin, but he doesn’t have a top lip and it annoys me. Ha Ha.

“Wow. You really have changed.”

“Just shut and drive Tabitha. I gotta go to work in the morning.”
